Intro to ADDTabz—What Is It?
Gentech Pharmaceuticals was the first to manufacture and sell ADDTabz, a nootropic/brain pill. Today, the supplement is under the ownership of Lexium International.
This U.S.-based company is prominent in the supplements industry, selling pills for mental performance and weight loss. Many consumers turn to their ADDTabz supplements to enhance their mental performance.
Benefits of Using ADDTabz Nootropics
Consumers report that ADDTabz improves focus and concentration. It also heightens alertness and increases overall energy. It is an affordable option for anyone looking to give their mental performance a little boost.
Note that the supplement is not the Adderall-alternative like Lexium International makes it out to be. Many ADDTabz reviews claim that it doesn’t significantly boost memory.
However, as an over-the-counter nootropic, most reviews on ADDTabz agree on one thing: it does provide some benefits.
Pros of ADDTabz
- Boosts focus and concentration
- Heightens alertness
- Increases overall energy
- Affordable
Cons of ADDTabz
- Not a substitute for Adderall
- Does not improve learning and memory
ADDTabz Ingredients
Folic acid – One capsule contains 1000mcg of folic acid [1]. Folic acid, also known as vitamin B9, is essential to healthy brain functioning. It can even ward off cognitive decline, particularly in older people. We get this vitamin naturally from leafy greens, beans, fortified foods, etc. However, many of us don’t get as much as we need. As long as you don’t get excessive folic acid from your diet, 1000mcg is the perfect amount for supplements. |
Citicoline – also known as cytidine diphosphate-choline, citicoline is a powerful nootropic. It stimulates your brain’s production of choline. This compound regulates mood, memory, and other functions. When you consume citicoline, it can improve focus and promote the health of your brain cells. Note that you need around 200 mg of citicoline to feel its effects. Considering the proprietary blend is only 375 mg, it may not contain as much citicoline as we would prefer. |
Choline bitartrate – this compound is similar to citicoline in that it stimulates choline production. However, it isn’t as powerful as citicoline [2]. |
Caffeine anhydrous – this nootropic ingredient is a much more powerful stimulant than regular caffeine. It provides extra energy, but too much can cause serious physiological effects. |
Octopamine -this nootropic helps with brain functioning and nervous system processing. Its effects as a supplement are not well-known, but it is a promising ingredient for a nootropic. |
Synephrine – a compound derived from bitter orange extract, this ingredient is common in many weight-loss supplements. Please note that if you have high blood pressure, a heart condition, or take prescription medication, you should speak with a doctor before taking this supplement. It can have adverse effects, including stroke and heart attack. |
Other Ingredients include:Stearic Acid, Dicalcium phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Magnesium Stearate, FD&C Yellow #6 (Lake), Silicon Dioxide, FD&C Red #40 (Lake), Pharmaceutical Glaze (Shellac Povidone).
What We Think of the ADDTabz Formula
While ADDTabz has plenty of folic acids to promote brain health as well as citicoline and choline bitartrate which may improve focus, heighten alertness, etc., this nootropic contains a proprietary blend which provides no dosage amounts for individual ingredients.
This is especially concerning because one of those ingredients is Caffeine. It is unacceptable to have caffeine in a supplement and not provide dosage amounts. Not only can this give jitters to those who are sensitive to caffeine, but it can be dangerous for those who have already consumed caffeine from other sources.
The formulation doesn’t contain powerful nootropic ingredients such as Bacopa Monnieri, Lion’s Mane Mushroom, or Rhodiola Rosea. It is simply a cheap knockoff that uses high doses of caffeine to mask a lack of anything else that provides cognitive benefits.
We definitely recommend you stay away from ADDTabz and try one of the many other great nootropics we have reviewed on this site that offer complete transparency in their formula and potent ingredients.
How Does It Work?
ADDTabz acts just like other supplements. The brain pill breaks down in your stomach and distributes throughout your body via your circulatory system. You should take it on an empty stomach to achieve the full effects.
Who Will Benefit from Using ADDTabz?
Its hard to say who would “benefit” from this supplement since we feel ADDTabz is a garbage supplement. The better question is “Who will benefit from using a good nootropic supplement?” If that is the question than the answer is, anyone looking to improve their mental performance will benefit from a brain pill including:
- Older people looking to ward off cognitive decline
- College students who need to improve their concentration
- Professionals stressed at work
- Parents trying to balance their family life and careers
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Under the age of 18
- Vegetarian or vegan (the supplement contains animal gelatin)
- Have cardiovascular issues (due to the presence of its stimulants)
- Are sensitive to caffeine
- Have already consumed a lot of caffeine
How It Feels
It may take up to half an hour after consuming the pill to feel its effects. Once they kick in, the effects should last all day.
ADDTabz may increase your concentration or motivation, however that is likely due to the Caffeine. If you are sensitive to Caffeine, you may feel jittery as well.
ADDTabz Side Effects – Is It Safe?
Some users report side effects. These symptoms are likely due to the presence of caffeine anhydrous and synephrine. Not everyone experiences them, but possible side effects include:
- Dizziness
- Blurred vision
- Nausea
- Nervousness
- Sweating
- Excitability
- Runny nose
How Do You Use ADDTabz?
One brain pill should be more than enough for the whole day. We recommend taking it with a glass of water a couple of hours before/after eating a meal to feel its full effects.
ADDTabz FAQs
Does ADDTabz Work?
Yes, ADDTAbz may work a little bit. Its important to understand though that even though its ingredients (primarily caffeine) may provide mental clarity, it doesn’t produce the same effects in everyone.
Whether or not it works for you will depend on your unique situation and how your body responds. Most likely if you body is used to consuming high doses of caffeine, the effects of ADDTabz won’t be as noticeable.
To feel its full effects, its recommend that you take it on an empty stomach.
ADDTabz vs AdderRx
AdderRx is similar to ADDTabz in that it falsely leads consumers to think that it is an alternative to Adderall. It is NOT an effective alternative to Adderall.
AdderRX and ADDTabz are also similar in that they both contains synephrine
Note: Consumers should not consider either the equivalent of Adderall. Speak with a doctor before stopping a prescription medication.

Summary
Our ADDTabz review concludes that the supplement is a cheap nootropic with a proprietary blend that doesn’t offer information on its ingredient dosages. In addition, ADDTabz doesn’t provide information on the amount of Caffeine in the supplement making it dangerous to consume.
This supplement likely relies on its high amounts of Caffeine to provide any short-term cognitive defects.
While Folic Acid is certainly good at promoting brain health, the supplement doesn’t contain high quality nootropic ingredients such as Bacopa Monnieri, Lion’s Mane Mushroom, or Rhodiola Rosea.
In addition, the name of the supplement indicates that this is an alternative to Adderall. Let me assure you, this is not an alternative to Adderall.
We highly recommend you stay away from ADDTabz as a nootropic supplement and get a supplement that is going to be much safer and effective. Please checkout our other reviews for the top nootropic supplements in the industry.

Where Can I Buy This Product?
You can buy ADDTabz online, directly from Lexium International’s website. If you like, you also can create an account with just your name email and shipment information.
The maker’s site is the only reputable place to get this product. Currently, you cannot purchase it from Amazon, GNC, or other manufacturers.
With that being said, we do NOT recommend buying ADDTabz based on our review. Simply put, ADDTabz is a crappy and cheap nootropic supplement and there is a much better nootropic supplement available. Instead we recommend you try the nootropic supplement we rated at #1. It is on sale until 28th September 2023.
We Recommend Purchasing Mind Lab Pro
